"Feeling" the Taste of Glenmorangie Whiskies With ASMR

Last month, I was challenged by Glenmorangie to bring their whiskies to life using sensory imagery as inspired by their video campaign. Glenmorangie partnered with three artists to create short films based on ASMR, meaning Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. To quote them, they were attempting "to depict the complex tastes of Glenmorangie Original, the elegant spice of Glenmorangie Lasanta and the rich sweetness of Glenmorangie Signet through sounds and imagery alone." ASMR is all about the response of your body (a tingling sensation down your spine) that allows for relaxed concentration and better perception. Glenmorangie wanted to trigger ASMR, so through research found that various elements might bring their Highland surrounds to life, including the earth, stone and wood textures, and sounds of water.
