Sagrada Família is one of the top things you must do in Barcelona! It’s an amazing basilica designed by Antoni Gaudí that’s still under construction (but it’s finally almost done!). You can take great photos of it from the outside, but the inside is just as cool. The exterior of the church is covered in intricate carvings, and the inside is equally as impressive. There are incredible stained glass windows and unique sculptures throughout the church. If you’re feeling energetic, you can also buy a ticket to climb one of the towers for panoramic views of Barcelona. Sagrada Família is a must-see when you’re in Barcelona, so make sure to book your ticket in advance to avoid disappointment!

Address: Carrer del Bisbe, 1, 08002

The Pont del Bisbe, or Bishop’s Bridge, in Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter is a popular photo spot for tourists. And it’s no wonder why – the Neo-Gothic bridge blends in seamlessly with its Medieval surroundings. But here’s a little secret: the Pont del Bisbe was actually constructed in 1928 by Joan Rubió i Bellver. So next time you’re admiring the Pont del Bisbe, take a moment to appreciate the skill of its architect – and to give yourself a pat on the back for being such an observant tourist!

Barcelona is a city with no shortage of incredible views. From the glimmering Mediterranean to the labyrinthine alleyways of the Gothic Quarter, there’s always something new to see. However, for those looking for a truly unique vantage point, the Bunkers del Carmel are not to be missed. Perched atop a hill in the north of the city, these abandoned anti-aircraft defenses now offer panoramic views of Barcelona’s skyline. On a clear day, you can even see all the way to the nearby Montserrat mountain range. I highly recommend going for sunset!

15. Palau de la Musica

Address: C/ Palau de la Música, 4-6, 08003

Palau de la Musica is a concert hall in Barcelona, Spain that is definitely worth a visit – especially if you’re into architecture and/or music. The inside is absolutely beautiful, with its barrel-vaulted ceiling and stained glass skylight. The most Instagram-famous spot to shoot at Palau de la Musica, though, is the colorful balcony. I recommend booking the earliest entry to the building before the balcony gets crowded, as then it can be hard to get a clean photo. Make sure to do the audio tour of the Palau de la Musica as well!

21. Platja de la Barceloneta

Address: Passeig Marítim de la Barceloneta, 16, 08003

Platja de la Barceloneta is one of the most popular beaches in Barcelona. This world-famous stretch of sand is located in the heart of the city, and it is the perfect place to soak up the Mediterranean sun. But Platja de la Barceloneta isn’t just a pretty face. It also has a long and fascinating history. The beach was originally created in the 18th century, when the city decided to use landfill to create new land. This process continued into the 19th century, and by the early 20th century, Platja de la Barceloneta had become one of the most popular beaches in Barcelona. Today, Platja de la Barceloneta is still a popular spot for locals and tourists alike!

22. Casa Vicens

Address: Carrer de les Carolines, 20, 08012

Casa Vicens is one of the most unique buildings in Barcelona. Designed by Antoni Gaudi, it was built between 1883 and 1885 and is considered to be one of the first examples of Art Nouveau architecture. Casa Vicens is notable for its elaborate brickwork and Moorish-inspired motifs. It was originally commissioned as a summer home for a wealthy family, but it is now open to the public as a museum for an entrance fee (and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site!). Visitors can tour the inside of the house, which has been restored to its original condition, and I highly recommend taking a photo in the outside area (the tiles are very photogenic). Casa Vicens is a must-see for anyone interested in architecture or design!

Parc de la Ciutadella is home to a wide variety of plant life, as well as a lake, a waterfall, and a fountain. In addition, the park is home to the Barcelona Zoo, which is one of the oldest zoos in Europe. Parc de la Ciutadella is an ideal place to spend a day enjoying the outdoors, and if the weather is nice, you’ll see a lot of locals hanging out there soaking up the sun. If you’re looking for the most popular photo spot here, check out the Cascada Monumental (fun fact: Gaudi designed the water tank and hydraulics). The fountain is loosely based on Rome’s Trevi Fountain and is really a showstopper.
